As we start to emerge and figure out our new normal.
We have to remember this has been an incredible season in our lives.
Give yourself grace as you start to process your feelings and thoughts.
If you are feeling anxious and scared, I am here to tell you this is normal.
I remember even just a year ago saying, none of us had a playbook on how to navigate during a pandemic and we have all been doing the best we can.
It’s ok to want to get out and be around people.
Do what you feel you need to do to protect yourself and the world around you.
Start taking note of what is important to you now.
Things may have changed and that is ok.
I have seen people who felt lost, unsure about life, gain tremendous clarity during this pandemic.
One of the biggest priorities I have seen open up is our HEALTH.
The CDC even came out and said that 78% of people who have been hospitalized, needed a ventilator or died from the virus have been overweight or obese.
This was an eye-opening number for me and fueled my passion even more to help people.
Especially when this has been such a hard time.
We have had way more stress, anxiety, fear which is all a recipe for finding coping mechanisms and most are not helpful.
Also on the flip side, I can see people go overboard with exercise, more is not better and can actually do more harm.
We were not meant to live in high amounts of stress, worry, and anxiety.
We are meant to thrive, live in abundance, serve others, and love.
I encourage you to start analyzing what is important to you today. What needs to be removed, what stays and what needs to happen.
Simple is best. <— This is the secret!
