The Beauty in a Sunrise
Motivation, Accountability, and Energy
These three words are the words I hear the most when people are considering our program.
They need help with motivation, someone to hold them accountable and they desire more energy.
Motivation is tough, especially right now. Believe me, it is easy to keep doing what we are doing, get caught up in everything around us.
I get asked often how do you stay so positive.
I will be the first to admit, I have absolutely struggled to stay positive, but I make a choice every morning and that is to have hope.
I learned a long time ago that I get to control my emotions and reactions. Now it has taken me a minute to fully grasp this and I also realized I get to fill my head with what I want.
Reading books, listening to inspiring podcasts, or anything business related in my jam.
I have minimized my media exposure…now I don’t keep my head in the sand…but we could all benefit from a reduction.
It goes back to pruning…when the vine is dying, we prune it and new life forms. What do you need to prune in your life that will give you the ability to do more and be more?
Accountability is absolutely no surprise to me.
We all need accountability in our life. A coach, who has your back, wants to see you be successful. If left to our own vices…well…we know what happens.
I have had several coaches over the years, more from a business side and we still continue to have coaches who help guide us.
It is important to know you don’t have to walk the journey alone.
Then energy, we all want to feel better, perform more and simply feel good.
We took an already sedentary world and with working from home we have reduced our movement even more. (The exception is having a 2 and 4 year old…if you need to get your steps in or some cardio…come on over!)
The simple act of taking a walk, doing a 20 min workout can release good endorphins and can instantly boost your mood and level of energy.
Always sounds counterproductive, but we are meant to move, we need to move and we thrive off of movement.
I share these three items because this is what I hear day after day and I want you to know you are not alone.
Motivation right now is hard and that’s why having a structured program, an appointment with your self and a little money motivation (meaning you paid for that workout) can help you get going consistently.
Then I highly recommend a coach. A coach is going to help keep you safe, but guide you. Now all coaches are not created equal…it is important to interview and make sure you have a good fit, check out their testimonials.
Lastly, the best by product of getting active is Energy! You don’t need to guzzle energy drinks. You need to drink water, get 7+ hours of sleep and move.
Its easy to do and it is easy not to do!

Meeting the Demands of Everyday Life
Our landscape has changed. Some parts are good and others will be different going forward. I know for us in the health and wellness space cramming 30+ bodies in a small area is not going to be ok for a while.
I also know there are some people who will not feel comfortable going to a gym for a while.
It is all fair and understandable.
What is important is to find a solution that meets you where you are today.
I will say it again, the landscape has changed for health and wellness. Some businesses have chosen to adapt and some have not.
We understand things are going to be different.
We also understand that we are all trying to navigate life and meet the demands of everyday life. Your health has never been more important.
When it comes to your health this isn’t just throwing some weights around at the gym, this is having more energy on a daily basis, this is breathing, truly breathing. Having a clear mind and high performance at your job or being present with your kids.
Managing anxiety and depression.
Listen, we get it more than ever.
Its time to take control over your health and wellness.
We have pivoted at TFW and things won’t go back to the “way we used to”.
That’s ok.
The stakes have never been so high to take care of you and we are here to provide the appropriate solution.
It looks like we will be able to open next week. This is not 100% confirmed, but we are trying to be as prepared as we possibly can. (We can’t wait till Friday to be told – cool you can open.) If the orders change, we will follow, but from what we have heard this is the plan.
Then how we plan to conduct our business is:
In person limiting class size at first. We only allowed 10 to begin with, but we want to err on caution and start at 5 people per class and adjust as needed.
This way everyone can spread out and feel safe.
We will continue our accountability, nutrition coaching and 1 on 1 assessments.
Then we will continue to serve our community online.
We are also creating a new online membership site where members will have access to our library of movements, on demand workouts, 28 Live Group workouts, workshops and ability to schedule 1 on 1 workouts.
We had our floors disinfected and cleaned yesterday by Zerorez. (highly recommend)
We always used a medical grade cleaner and will continue.
Lastly, we are going to ask our clients to take personal responsibility – if you are not feeling well, please do not come to the gym, wash your hands after the workout and/or use hand sanitizer, then wipe down equipment between each use. (As a staff we will be doing this as well.)
I will say it again, the stakes have never been so high to take care of you. Life is demanding a lot from us and we can help you perform at a high level.
Let us know how we can help.

Adapting to Challenges
I hope you are doing well and enjoying some good weather and sunshine here in Indianapolis!
I wanted to talk today about adapting to challenges. This climate we are in has either shown some amazing qualities in each of us or has brought us down. I won’t lie and say I have this all figured out.
We all will go through ups and downs on how we feel and are handling our current situations.
I have watched several business adapt or pivot and we have seen some businesses already shut down.
I can’t predict exactly what our lives will be like post all this and how long it will take for our economy to boost back.
But what I do know is we won’t be scared of “virtual” anything. I believe this has only opened up opportunities.
Adapting and moving our workouts was the only option we saw. It didn’t take us a week, heck it didn’t even take us a day to find a solution. Now I am not patting myself on the back here.
I want to share more of the mindset.
I guess you can say this is the eternal problem solver in me. Or the challenges we have face to get where we are today.
It is not in either one of us to sit on our hands and say why me, instead it is always ok cool, what’s the solution.
No isn’t an option.
When we first started this business 7 odd banks said no to financing our first building. The 8th one said yes.
The building we are in today was the 3rd deal after two years of searching.
Some could say we are hard-headed, which is not untrue. 😉
Determined is my thought process.
I encourage you to look at what you have been through and experienced in life. How has it been helpful to you today? I will have to admit, I have struggled with this.
Adapting right now is our only option. You can sit and stew and worry or you can find a new normal.
Exercise is one of the most important things you can do right now. We have any and every option available to you, minus in person. 😉
-We have our 28 LIVE Virtual workouts. —> CLICK HERE (we opened this up to everyone!)
-We upload a recording of the first workout each day along with a library we are building to our YouTube Channel, access anytime anywhere.
-We have workouts we can email you.
-We can mail the workouts to you.
-We post our workouts on FB and in our Private Group.
We understand this time is hard on all of us. Keep your mind sharp, exercise daily even if it is going for a walk. Listen to music.
Also, we are available. We have been working round the clock to keep all this going and picking up the phone to check on our clients. Give us a call if you need help navigating Zoom. Or what’s this movement, etc.
We are here for you!
