Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 lb Ground Turkey, Chicken or Beef
½ Onion, chopped
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 t Salt
1 t Chili Powder
1 t Ground Cumin
1 Onion, sliced
2 Red/Green Peppers, sliced
12 oz Mushrooms, sliced
Simple Crunchy Slaw (see recipe below)
Drizzle pan with olive oil and saute the ground meat with half of the minced garlic and chopped onion. Season with salt, chili powder and ground cumin.
Drizzle sauté pan with olive oil add onions and peppers, season with salt and pepper, and cook until tender. Remove from pan and saute mushrooms with salt and pepper.
Add any more of your favorite veggies, you can’t go wrong.
Simple Crunchy Slaw:
2 C Green and Red Cabbage, shredded
1-2 Carrots, shredded
1 Celery Stalk, sliced
Toss with 2 T apple cider vinegar, 1 T olive oil, ¼ t salt and 2 t honey.
