What if fat loss can be simple and effortless for you to achieve?
I see so many men and women go through the process of fat loss looking through the wrong lens.
The process does not have to be hard and you do not have to beat the snot out of your body to accomplish a lean look.
Here are three foundational strategies to get you moving in the correct direction.
Step 1: Resistance Training 3 Days per week
It should have some intensity or styles of moments that will drive heart rate ranges close to max levels.
Suppose the program is designed properly and your activity level outside of lifting days is filled with general movement that equates to 10,000 steps. In that case, you will not need cardiovascular activities outside your lifting days.
Step 2: Nutrition
When you stress your body with resistance training you want to focus on building your food intake around protein.
Protein provides the nutrients that help rebuild and repair muscle damage and it can also help with hormonal balance.
A simple rule is to consume 35-40 grams of protein per meal and 15-20 grams of protein with each snack for men and 20-30 grams of protein per meal and 10-15 grams of protein with each snack for women. (You can get more specific in the area of protein intake based on your structure and lean body mass.)
Minimize simple carbs and reduce the number of processed foods consumed.
Step 3: Sleep and Recovery
If you can consistently get 7 to 8 hours of quality sleep each night it can significantly enhance the process for you.
When you get the quality sleep your body’s chemistry and hormonal production will get better.
Sleep will allow your body to recover properly from the workouts and the stress of daily living.
After reading this, you are thinking, WOW, that sounds easy.
And the process can be easy.
